Shades of Buble with Bart and Bosco

I have been doing some work outside the Hard Rock now that the season is arriving. This allows the opportunity to work with some fine bands and musicians besides the dynamite guys in the Council Oak.

-with Neil Kaplan at the Delray Beach Club. Annie, Aida and Carlos really have a great chemistry and I enjoyed being back there after at least a decade. Completely renovated but still the same great crowd that used to hear the Palm Beach Orchestra with John and Maggie Hollis.

-with CK Music at the Pelican Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale. Never worked here before but such a beautiful location and great music with Barbara Evans, Valerio Cantore and Phil Fest.

-with Neil Smith Orchestra at the Jupiter Beach Club. First time with this group, led by Guy Scott and on the recommendation of Lucien Williams and Scott Whitney. Tin Pan Alley instrumental melodies and a continuous gig like I used to do up in Philly/Wilmington with Ken Silver and Nino Pugliesi. Great to play with Steve Ahearn again (from the Palm Beach Pops days) and follow Guy through his repertoire.

-with Mike Dutra and Seriously Sinatra at the Naples Zoo for their fundraiser. Always a blast to play the Sinatra book with the best of the West Coast and see $1.2 million raised for our favorite zoo. Our third year as members and they now have a hospital.

-with Mike Suman, Bart Delaney, Phil Fest, Phil Hinton and Hayden Mapel (the A Team) for the William Clare showcase at Valencia Pointe. The tribute theme continues to dominate as we accompanied Jassen Allen (Lionel Richie), Jenine Caramielo (Celine) and a great Motown/R&B group called Uptown. This year, I will be working the run of Frankie Scinta, Jenene and Jesse Hamilton’s new show, Generations of Soul.

As always, you can check out Dale Powers on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at the Council Oak Steakhouse in the Hard Rock Casino Hollywood. Great players abound: Jesse Jones, Jr, Johnnie O, Matt Bonelli, Scott Whitney, Jeff Taylor, Ramon Casales and Phoenix Rivera. The occasional appearance of Deena Miller is also possible.

Coming up in December: another William Clare showcase (12/6), Lagniappe in Miami with Jeff Prine and Mitch Goldstein (12/1) and a gig for Hotwire on 12/13.
